Black Hawk secures three-peat to continue Region 4 dynasty
BYRON, ILL. - You can count on one hand the number of times Black Hawk College has not been the Region 4 champion over the last two decades. The Braves added another in 2026 as they completed a three-peat by claiming the Region 4 Division II Men's Golf Tournament championship for the 17th time since 2006 after competing at PrairieView Golf Club from April 26-28. Black Hawk posted a three-day total of 905 to finish 18 shots in front of runner-up Highland Community College. Freshman Marquez Angeles of Bryant & Stratton College secured the Region 4 Golfer of the Year with a three-over-par 219. Shayne Shepherd of BHC was awarded Region 4 Coach of the Year.
